Place orders, arrange collections/deliveries. Dealing with customer and retailer calls/emails, offer tech support with the products, liaise with the warehouse team, couriers and retailers.

What do you like about working at Frank Olsen Furniture?

It’s a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

What’s your background?

I’ve worked in retail for 19 years, and in pubs. Then two years in Customer Service for distribution/ transport.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I like to do flower arranging and spending time with my little family going away in the caravan.

Who would you most like to swap places with for the day?

My grandad so he could see how much his family has grown for him to spend time with his Great grandchildren.

What’s your favourite quote?

Everything happens for a reason.

Interesting fact about me is...

My sisters are half Dutch.

Reporting and interpretation of data, order administration, liaising with couriers, providing support and solutions to trade customers and consumers, development of creative and innovative ideas for system improvements.
What do you like about working at Frank Olsen Furniture?
My team are friendly, helpful and very welcoming.
What’s your background?
Social Services, Housing Sector, Solicitors.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Spending time with my husband going for walks and seeing National Trust venues, baking bread and lemon drizzle, painting (whenever I have the time!), shopping, seeing my friends and family.
Who would you most like to swap places with for the day?
Not sure… maybe the Queen – I’m curious how she spends her day and how she is waited on hand and foot!
What’s your favourite quote?
‘Have no fear of perfection, you’ll never reach it’ Salvador Dali.
Interesting fact about me is...
I’m left-handed… not sure if that’s exciting enough!

The people and friendly atmosphere, feeling valued and the great feedback we receive about our products. 
What’s your background?
Customer Service – I worked as Airline Cabin Crew for a major UK airline for almost 10 years before having children. Now my feet are firmly on the ground! 
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Family time - going for winter walks, tap and ballet lessons, eating out.
Who would you most like to swap places with for the day?
My daughter so I could see the world through the eyes of a child again.

I have been to Easter Island twice – it’s a magical place!

The friendly feel in the workplace.
What’s your background?
All sorts of everything! I started off in catering many moons ago. I have also done bookkeeping; in my last job I was a HR Manager.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Well, when we are back to some normality, I enjoy having friends round for meals and a few drinks.
Who would you most like to swap places with for the day?
A 20-year-old living at home and working full time. I think this has to be the best time of anyone’s life. No responsibilities and freedom to do as you want.

What do you do at Frank Olsen Furniture?

I oversee the creative direction of products and the management of retail partner accounts for Frank Olsen Furniture. This includes new products and range development, with a focus on accent, signature designs and working with our key retail partners such as Next, Dunelm and Barker & Stonehouse. 

What do you like about working at Frank Olsen Furniture?

The atmosphere, the positive ‘can-do’ attitude and sense of being a part of a truly dedicated team. I love the process of seeing a product that starts as a simple sketch, evolve into a physical product that someone is proud to have in their home. 

What’s your background?

Design development, marketing and editorial content in the lifestyle digital space.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Running and fitness, I am a keen runner and have taken part in many races and events around the world.
Who would you most like to swap places with for the day?

Deena Kastor – I’d love to know what it is like to run a marathon that fast.

What’s your favourite quote?
‘Though she be but little, she is fierce’ a quote from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

I started walking at 8 months.

What do you like about working at Frank Olsen Furniture?

An amazing aspirational business, family values coupled with innovation and ambition, a perfect formula for success. One I am incredibly proud to be a part of.

What’s your background?
Retail Management for over 30 years, 10 years of which in the KBBI (Kitchen, Bedroom, Bathroom Installation) sector. And the last 4 years in the furniture sector.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I love spending time with my amazing family, watching movies, a bit of car detailing and a keen walker, the wife and I are members of the National Trust, so love discovering new and interesting places to visit.

Who would you most like to swap places with for the day?
Great question, probably my son, just to experience what being a teenager in the 21st century actually feels like and understanding the challenges he has to face every day. And obviously the opportunity to play Xbox for 24hrs.
What’s your favourite quote?
“If you want to get somewhere fast, go alone… If you want to get far, go together.”
Interesting fact about me is...

I was a lead singer in a band in the 90s for over 8 years, and we had the privilege of performing to the Queen’s flight crew at RAF Northolt, which included over 3000 troops. Very proud to have supported our Armed Forces.

Making payments to ensure the business cogs keep turning, improving our systems along with Rob our Operations Director.

What do you like about working at Frank Olsen Furniture?
Being able to give the Frank Team simpler processes making their day brighter. 
What’s your background?
I’ve worked with Charlie previously in another role. Before being a part of the Frank team, I worked as a Team Leader for 18 members in carer recruitment; something that I loved. A diverse role, dealing with applications and DBS checks, ensuring that the onboarding process was swift, and the applicant was kept informed of each stage.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I enjoy attending the gym and walking the dog with the family.
Who would you most like to swap places with for the day?
The Queen (What a lady! Watched all 4 seasons of The Crown).
What’s your favourite quote?
 Early bird catches the worm.
Interesting fact about me is...
I went to a Supermarket Sweep audition hoping to see Dale Winton when I was a student. Unfortunately failed at both counts – didn’t secure a place and didn’t see Dale Winton. Fun day though!!

Over 20 years in this industry, a trained Rolls Royce Engineer and a Degree in Business and Finance.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Family life, dreaming up new ideas, hiking and travelling.
Who would you most like to swap places with for the day?
A historic world leader like Winston Churchill or Margaret Thatcher to better understand the mindset of such leadership in different but challenging circumstances.

‘The key to getting started is to quit talking and get doing’ – Walt Disney ‘You only get one life, enjoy it’.

As a student, I was once an extra in a British film starring Sean Bean.
